I CHOSE MY PARENTS
The idea that we choose our own parents may seem radical to some, but it is a concept that has been explored by many spiritual traditions and belief systems. According to this theory, before we are born, our souls make a conscious decision to enter into a particular family and life situation in order to learn and grow in certain ways.
For me, this idea of pre-birth planning makes a lot of sense, especially when I look at my own life and experiences. I have always had a deep sense of purpose and a feeling that there was something I was meant to do in this world. When I discovered my past life as a bishop in France, it provided a missing piece to the puzzle of my life's purpose.
Growing up, I was surrounded by certain cultural and linguistic influences that seemed to point to a connection with Europe. My father's love for the accordion and my relatives' fluency in French all seemed to hint at a past life connection. Additionally, my own passion for creating positive change in the world aligns with the idea that my soul may have been involved in social and political movements in a past life.
Of course, there is no way to prove definitively that these connections are real or that we do indeed choose our own parents. However, for me, this belief provides a sense of meaning and purpose that is deeply fulfilling. It allows me to see my life experiences as part of a larger plan and to trust that everything happens for a reason.
Furthermore, the idea of choosing our own parents also implies a level of responsibility for our own lives. If we believe that we are not just passive recipients of our life circumstances but active participants in their creation, then we can take greater ownership of our choices and actions. We can recognize that we have the power to shape our own destiny and to create the life we want to live.
While the idea of choosing our own parents may seem unconventional, it can provide a sense of purpose and meaning to our lives. By recognizing the connections between our past lives and our current experiences, we can gain a deeper understanding of our life's purpose and take greater responsibility for our own growth and development. Ultimately, this belief can help us live more fulfilling and intentional lives.
